October 2007: A new home for physical sciences
Cornell's physicists, chemists and engineers, among the best in the world, will soon have a new building to call home. The physical sciences building, scheduled for completion in 2010 and located between Clark Hall and Baker Lab, marks the beginning of a new era at Cornell. With the latest technology and instrumentation in its state-of-the-art laboratories, new space for teaching and collaborative work and beautiful atria and common areas for studying and meeting, the facility will play a major role in Cornell's ability to recruit the most promising researchers and students.
