Temporary Full and Part-time Teaching Positions in Physics

The Department of Physics at Cornell University wishes to identify qualified candidates for temporary full and part-time teaching positions. Most positions involve discussion section and laboratory instruction in one of our introductory or intermediate level physics courses, and may vary in complexity, responsibility and scope. These short term, non-tenure track positions are often available for the fall, spring and/or summer semesters. Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced degree in physics or a related field, and who have demonstrated excellence in teaching in a university setting. Positions may also be available for candidates with a Bachelors degree in physics who have strong teaching credentials. Please send a CV or resume and two teaching references to:

Chair, Department of Physics
Cornell University
109 Clark Hall

Application materials may also be sent by fax to: (607) 255-2643. Applications will be reviewed by the Physics Department and when temporary teaching positions arise, qualified candidates identified through this search will be contacted.
