Research Areas
Strong interactions, b- and c- quark resonance properties; gaseous detectors for particle physics applications

Current Research
I am part of the CLEO collaboration which uses data collected at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR) to study electron-positron interactions. I participate in the group's efforts in the areas of b/anti-b and c/anti-c resonance spectroscopy and decay. I presently have two students, James Ledoux and Jim Hunt, who will finish their theses work by September 2009. I do not at this time anticipate taking on other students.

I also work with senior physicist Dan Peterson on R&D for the particle detector of the proposed International Linear Collider.

In addition, I am the Principal Investigator for the CLASSE REU grant for the NSF.
